Over the summer, New Lebanon Alum Ashley Tittemore contacted Walter B. Howard Elementary Principal Andrew Kourt regarding raising money for backpacks and school supplies for needy students. Ashley raised over $500 to purchase supplies and backpacks. Monique Wood, a former Board of Education member and parent to three alumni students, purchased the supplies, filled and delivered the backpacks to WBH. Each grade received two book bags filled with supplies from the WBH supply list. Thank you Ashley and Monique!
