  • NEW!! Parent Access to Student Information
Parents now have access to information about their child from our student information system, eSchoolData.  This includes:  progress reports, report cards, contact information, health information and discipline records. To begin setting up your parent account, you first need to visit the Parent Portal website, https://parentportal.eschooldata.com/login.aspx.  Once you are at the website, look in the blue rectangle for the words, " First time Here? Click here to create a new account."  Follow the directions to set up your account. Once you have set up the account, you will need to come in to see Eileen Winslow in the guidance office to have your account activated.  Please bring a photo ID when you come to school.  Once your account is activated, you can access information about your child through the Parent Portal at any time you choose.

  • Open Swim

    Monday and Wednesday 6:30pm -- 8:00pm
$3 per person or $5 for a family

  • H1N1 Preparedness
The District receives regular updates from health officials to guide our practices with respect to reducing contagion.  Parents of any student who presents symptoms consistent with influenza (flu) will be contacted to pick up their child and bring him or her home. While students are awaiting their parent, the student will be requested to wear a surgical mask to reduce the possibility of contagion to others.
  • Student Physicals
All 7th graders and 10th graders must have a current physical exam on file in the Health Office. To be considered current, the exam must have been completed after 5/1/2009.   The District Health Appraisal Form is available on this webpage.  Please click on "Health Forms" (above) to access the form for your family physician.
  • SAT registration & ACT registration:
Several parents have asked about registering 11th graders for the SAT or ACT exams. While New Lebanon is not a testing site, the deadlines for test registration as well as test administration dates are listed in the orange District calendar. You can find out more about applying for these tests on the Guidance webpage.
  • Sports Physicals
In order to be eligible to attend practice or complete in athletics, students must have a current physical exam on file in the Health Office.  To be consider current for an athletic season, the exam has to be less than one year old.  The District Health Appraisal Form is available on this webpage.  Please click on "Health Forms" (above) to access the form for your family physician.
  • Free and Reduced Lunch
With tight budgets pinching most of us, I want to remind parents of the free and reduced price lunch (breakfast too!) program. The savings can be substantial, especially to families with more than one child in the district. If parents have any concern that a student's eligibility will in some way be identifiable, please don't be worried. The students who receive free or reduced meals simply punch in their code on the serving line key pad in the same manner as those students whose parents pre-pay for their meals. When going through the line, they are simply another student whose meal has already been paid for. You may apply at any time. If you would like the form mailed to you, please email me and I will see that we send it right out to you: lwhitcomb@newlebanoncsd.org
