Walter B. Howard Elementary School
Walter B. Howard Elementary School is a small school with a proud rural heritage nestled in a quaint setting between State Route 20 and Kinderhook Creek. We pride ourselves with high academic standards and expectations for all students to achieve academic success. This success rests squarely on the expertise of our teachers and other staff members who stop at nothing less than the best for each of the 231 students in our care.
In addition to excellent instruction and programs, we boast a safe and nurturing environment where all students, parents, and community members feel welcome and respected for their individual and group contributions to our school.
With all of this said, we fully credit our accomplishments to a strong belief that it truly does take a team effort of parents and school staff to make a positive difference in the lives of our children, and we are committed to only the best practices in education ensuring that our students leave sixth grade with the foundation for success at our Junior Senior High School.
