Sixth Grade Science Fair

Sixth grade students participated in the Sixth Grade Science Fair in March. Each team chose their topic and followed the Scientific Method to collect data and design their experiment. They prepared a presentation board which discussed their findings and presented their work during the school day for their classmates to see, as well as in the evening for parents and family members to view.

The top three experiments were chosen by teacher Dave Woulfin. They are as follows:

1st: Freling Smith- Memory Retention

2nd: Alexis McLaughlin and Lindsey Smith- Model Hovercrafts

3rd: Kyle Patch- Bubbles

The top three teams competed in the Twin County Science Fair at Columbia Greene Community College.
